About Lai Zhigang
Artist Profile
Lai Zhigang, also known as Yun Chan.
A member of the China Artists Association, he was born in 1963 in Bengbu City, Anhui Province.
Currently residing in Beijing and Shenzhen.
He enrolled in the Chinese Painting Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 2001 and was selected into the graduate group of "Jia Youfu Studio" in 2002. In 2005, he began training at the "Li Xiaoke Studio" of the Beijing Painting Academy. He has won the Excellence Award in the "2nd China Fine Arts Golden Color Award". In 2018, Tianjin People's Fine Arts Publishing House published "Inheritance and Development - Ink Landscape Painting Collection of Lai Zhigang".
His works have been exhibited in many regions including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangdong, Shandong, Zhejiang, Japan, and Taiwan.
Representative works include "Rise", "Art Road", "Cloud Road", "Gorge Road", "Tide", "Sacred Realm", "Huangshan Smoke and Clouds", and "Three Gorges of the Yangtze River".
